Free Map Tools is a place to find free tools to allow you to measure, save and send maps to other people.
These tools can be used for a variety of reasons and by a broad range of people. This website can be used by groups or individuals who have hobbies such as:
- Running
- Walking
- Cycling
- Sailing
- Amateur Radio
This site is currently being developed, but will make use of the Google Maps API, PHP and Ajax.
If you have any suggestions of possible tools that could be developed that make use of maps then please get in touch. Any suggestions for improvements for existing tools will also be appreciated.

For the membership of a club, insert all postcodes and determine the geographical 'centre of gravity' This helps to determine location for an event to attract all members with equitable travel.
